  • http://www.monroeartist.com:  this is Bill Monroe's site, which he calls "Funny framed office art & Business Gifts.  The law firm Filly, Dally, DeLay and Stall is only hypothetical...don't you wish?

  • http://newswithviews.com/Devvy/kiddA1.htm Devvy Kidd's work is first rate.  Nope, not in the mainstream - probably a bit too much truth foe many sheep to bear.  Which makes it all the more worth reading.

  • http://www.standeyo.com/  Fine web designer Holly and superb earthquake studies from Stan - we're talking a great site to visit daily.

  • http://www.stevequayle.com Just because I'm a guest on the Steve Quayle radio show (free on the net live weeknights) doesn't color my thinking here.  Well, maybe a bit...but Steve's got a whole load of good connections in the places where most people don't want to look - military industrial/medical/DNA conspiracy type stuff and yes, you should be worried about it.

  • http://www.bulletproofretirement.com  Shy and retiring?  Certainly not.  The problem addressed here is "How to we get through the end of Baby Booming without have our life savings/investments/wealth/and health ripped off?"

  • http://www.onlinestocktrading.org  Don't want to spend 7-years of undergrad and grad school (and $50K) to figure out day/short-term trading?  Might be something here for you...

  • http://www.ees.net.nz/ Elite e services has some neat trader tools.  If you don't have a color copier good enough to make counterfeit bond certificates, maybe you should drop by.

  • http://trunews.blogspot.com/ Although it hasn't been updated for a long while, the comments are still interesting to read from an historical perspective.

  • http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Canopy/2265/us-woe.htm A visit here makes sense: They have figured out that while Matt Savinar (www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net) and I have been talking about what's coming, and as the price of gas wanders up toward the $4 level and beyond, maybe we weren't/aren't so nuts after all.

  • http://leonine.wordpress.com/ Billed as "Ramblings on Christianity, the Bible, and the News, this site pulls everything together into a nice...well ...um...unsettling...mix.

  • http://bisonsurvivalblog.blogspot.com/ A site that touts frugal survivalism, preparedness, self-sufficiency, and extreme paranoia.  Hey, that's here, too right?  WFT?

  • http://prudentinvestor.blogspot.com/ This is a fine blog about what?  Bubbles.  Not the kind Lawrence Welk talked about (turna offa da bubbla machina).  Nope.  The fed-bankster driven kinds.  Which of course, you don't believe in, right?

  • http://www.ernstrade.com These pages in French make a reference to us - can't tell if they think we're nuts, or what.  But any country that can produce Merlot wine and Bridgette Bardot deserves a link.  Freedom fries notwithstanding.

  • http://www.endtimesreport.com/ This site, like our own project here at UrbanSurvival is all about self reliant living.  Tons of good stuff, not to mention Miles Stair's Quickening News.

  • http://moralequivalentofwar.wordpress.com/  What is the moral equivalent of war?  Well, if you believe in the GWOT (global war on terror), a visit here might change how you view things a bit...

  • http://www.survivalblog.com/index.html  Well, we're all trying to be survivors, but this site does a fine job of getting down to the real basics of food, water, shelter, sanitation - the hard core 'got to haves' to live when the you know what hits the you know what.

  • http://deconsumption.typepad.com/deconsumption/ Yup, I'm not the only one who is waking up to what's going on in the world...lots of folks with similar views on current events here.

  • http://www.linkcrusader.com/ This site is decidedly anti-Bush, so if you need more grist for the mill, plenty of links and thoughts to sort through here.

  • http://spelunkingthroughthechaos.blogspot.com/ Fine place - decidedly wondering about 9/11, how the neocons have stolen America and similar thought.

  • www.picassodreams.com The artwork here is as good as the comments. and the artwork is very, very good.  In fact, if I could afford one, I'd have it in my office!

  • http://www.capitalstool.com/ Good solid and skeptical economics ("We don't know, and neither do they" champions their banner).  Sounds like us, but a bit more urban and nicely done.  If you are a trader, this is a daily must-see.

  • http://www.americaindanger.com/index.html  Now, here's a site that is definitely on track with much of our thinking: If the Constitutional Rights go, we're all toast.  Wait a minute...aren't they already gone?  OhmyLord...

  • http://www.zulunation.com/  OK, this is a site that links to mine - and what's more - the graphical design of this site is the bomb - it is some of the nicest and most original around.  Also, if you need a bio of Kool DJ Herc, father of hip hop, dis be dah place

  • http://www.b4-thebell.com/ If I was still day trading, which I'm not, this is one of the sites I would be sure to surf every day.  Good posts - and sometimes I learn a thing or two.  Worth a bookmark - not just the once-over.

  • www.gdpresources.com: Stephen Hudson's site is all about dentistry - but not about molars and such.  It's about how to have a life and a dental practice.  Also, if you're a dentist, be sure not to miss his products page.

  • www.prisonplanet.com: Alex Jones' site is designed to scare you into awareness.  If you think I'm a bit "over the top" about certain things, such as voting fraud, you ain't seen nuthin yet until you check out this site.  Alex is a good interviewer - been on his show several times - and he doesn't pass out rose-colored glasses...

  • http://stockmarketjungle.com Michael Panzer has written a wonderful book on investing.  yeah, I know, why be in the market now?  Well, for one thing, a knowledgeable investor can make as much in a down move as an up move - sometimes more.  But regardless of your take on the long term direction, "New Laws of the Stock market Jungle" is a fine (and worthwhile) investment before you invest...

  • http://www.BoldVenturesGroup.com This is a one-stop tool kit  for new and existing business ventures.  Offers planning, product or company launch, and turning losing companies into winners.  Also a good networking place...

  • http://www.peakoil.com  This is a don't miss site that will clue even the densest person into a simple concept: Oil companies are finding less than 40 percent of what they sell each year.  This means depletion is real - and it's, in the words of the old REM song, "Right here, Right now..."

  • http://umoveout.org  This is a business-like approach to protecting our liberties: "Although we can identify hundreds of external and internal threats that are currently undermining our beloved nation, we have to be careful to prioritize our mission and objectives. If we choose too broad of an approach, we risk becoming disorganized and ineffective. Therefore, it is imperative that we carefully and strategically plan our objectives to address short-term (eminent and immediate) defensive threats, while simultaneously planning and executing long-term offensive goals." Non-violent and within the legal framework, this is an action-oriented group.

  • http://cyclytics.blogspot.com/  Good technical analysis - not updated every day but worth clicking several times a week.

  • http://www.kwaves.com  This is a Kondratieff economics site and one of the best links is their "Economic Recovery Model.  It looks a lot like the one we have written about which, coincidentally, also looks like a train wreck...

  • http://deconsumption.typepad.com/deconsumption/2004/04/the_cycle_of_ma.html This is a good site with various views, but the winner is the Cycle of Man series.  Scroll down the menu on the right hand side of the page to find and read this excellent rap.

  • http://nostradumass.blogspot.com/ When is this site going to be updated? I feel I should know it in advance...

  • http://mark.jeftovic.net/ Under the Radar: Better living through private world domination.  Makes me wanna backdate some options on the spot, doesn't it you?  Although not updated terrible often (Daily would be nice, Mark!) it's good stuff.  He does have a real job, apparently besides the site...which might explain why he doesn't write constantly.

  • http://www.relocalize.net What do we do when the trade halts, the oil is gone and we're broke?  Why, relocalize of course.  Think "cooperative living" - no Joneses to out-consume in that, but it's probably worth doing...

There is Life After 8-5!!!

  • www.paulgagliano.com Paul's an actor E & I ran into here in Tinseltown - and a genuinely nice person.  If we were betting, we'd venture that one of these days, Paul will turn into one of those "overnight successes" that you read about.  As you'll see from his resume, that "overnight" stuff generally takes 10-years of hard work,... Maybe we can talk him into writing an entertainment column now and then...

  • http://theboomshelter.com Reports news related to disasters and the apocalypse, updated daily. Interesting site...

  • http://www.BACHorgan.com/CommunityLinks.asp If you like Bach - and who doesn't? - this is a great site.  We like the compositions pages but it would sure be cool if they had a MIDI page for those of us who are interested in orchestrating our own.
  • http://www.proaxis.com/~singlevision/ Inspirational Books written by Delores Dahl.  13 books so far and I like the title: Everything's a Mountain...yup.
